WHY RE-ELECT SOUZA
A Voice for Our Community Members
When Kanani campaigned for the State House District 43 seat in 2022, she made a commitment to her community members that she would be a voice for every individual, not just those who aligned with her own personal values. She vowed to remain an independent thinker and make decisions based on what was best for the community, regardless of party lines.
She has kept her word and has remained rooted in serving the best interests of the people from her first day in office. Her voting record in the Hawai'i State Legislature, community engagement efforts, consistent communication with the residents of District 43, and fearless leadership have defined her successful first term in office.
Souza's balanced approach to leadership has allowed her to be a true public servant. Her unwavering ability to remain steadfast in her foremost principle of prioritizing our residents' needs as the pinnacle of her work is a departure from business as usual.
Kanani shows up and puts in the time to ensure she is working tirelessly and earning her role every day as the State Representative for District 43.
The Souza 'ohana has been a part of the Kapolei and Makakilo community for 33 years. Kanani humbly asks for your support in re-electing her to continue the work she began two years ago and further steward the place she has called home all of her life.
